To clients holding on SIA  CFD short positions, we would like to bring your attention to the proposed renounceable rights issue of new ordinary shares and mandatory convertible bonds by SIA. The above proposed corporate action upon confirmation at the EGM on 30th April, could trigger a shares recall by our lenders.  In the event where Phillip CFD is unable to maintain our short hedge, we will require you to close your CFD short positions within a short notice before the ex-date by 5th May.
